The Road Leading from Buckmountain Road to Charlottesville is by the Court Established Agreeable to Report of Peter Clarkson & Als, And it is Ordered that Peter Clarkson & William Johnson be Appointed Overseers to Open the Same with the Gangs of Thomas West, George Tyman, William Carr & John GILLIAM.

The road Petitioned for by John Wood Jr is Established as follows, Viz, where the reported way first strikes the Lands of John Key gent then along said reported way thro the lands of said Key and the lands of Wm Watson decd. and thro the lands of John GILLIAM & Benjamin Thurmond to Hammocks Gap and it is ordered that John Sandidge and James Huckstep as Overseers with the two different Lists of hands fild do open the said Road and the road Established Yesterday accordingly.

This presentment is continued untill next term, and it appearing to the Satisfaction of the Court that Harry Oaks and Pleasant GILLUM, the Commonwealths witnesses in this presentment, have been Duly Summoned to attend this term as such, being Solemnly Called and not appearing, It is Ordered by the court that they be fined eight Dollars each for their non attendance unless they shew cause to the contrary on or before the next term.
